We had an incredible 2025 here at Fertile Ground, and we can’t wait to share how much of an impact you’ve made in creating a more sustainable Oklahoma!
Let’s get started with some amazing stats:
Total New Customers, including residential and commercial: 72, including many from our Recycle, Moore program!
Zero Waste Speaking Engagements: 33
Zero Waste Events, including Festival of the Arts and the Billie Eilish concert in Tulsa: 39
Amount of waste diverted from the Zero Waste Events: 20,200 pounds, or 10.1 tons!
Recycling collected: 348,450 pounds, or 171.3 tons
Glass collected: 89,500 pounds, or 44.8 tons
Food scraps collected:
Residential customers: 46,175 pounds, or 23.1 tons
Commercial customers: 230,642 pounds, or 115.3 tons
Community compost customers: 37,523 pounds, or 18.8 tons
That’s a total of 311,351 pounds, or 155.6 tons of food you diverted from the landfill, Oklahoma!!
Did you know we take landscape materials? It’s not waste if you bring it to us to become compost! We took over 500 tons of tree limbs and other landscape refuse and added it to your food scraps to make our compost in 2025. Learn more about green waste composting!
